The current study aimed to discover the relationship between stressful life events and feelings of hopelessness, and psychological loneliness. The study sample consisted of (294) students from Al-Balqa Applied University (females, 262; males, 32). The researchers used three tools: the stressful life events scale, the hopelessness scale and the psychological loneliness scale. The study results showed a positive correlation between stressful life events and feelings of hopelessness and psychological loneliness.
