This study delves into the experiences of migration and asylum-seeking through the lens of William Safran's diaspora framework, which centers on the concepts of dispersion, diaspora consciousness, and homeland connections. Employing Safran's theoretical model, the research critically analyzes the autobiographical work "The Book of Rosy" by Rosayra Pablo Cruz and Julie Schwietert Collazo, focusing on the challenges faced by migrants, particularly mothers, in the context of Trump's zero tolerance policy.
