Sídliskové areály lengyelskej kultúry v Pohraniciach
Lengyel culture in section D, where the highest concentration of features was detected. Archaeological contexts occurred as independent clusters of features consisting mostly of claypits and pits with unknown functions. Their fill contained finds of pottery, miniature artifacts, animal bones and daub. The fragmentary state of the assemblage does not allow to specify chronological position of individual features. There were elements typical of the Late Eneolithic Lengyel as well as Epi-Lengyel cultural development. It can be assumed that the chronological span of these settlement areas reached from the end of the Neolithic (Brodzany Group) to the beginning of the Aeneolithic (early stage of the Ludanice Group).
