This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles. One cycle consists of 4 stages consisting of: planning, implementation. observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is class XI IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Gemuh for the 2022/2023 academic year. The analysis technique used is a qualitative description. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, tests and documentation. Data sourced from teachers and students. This research shows that the results of applying the Student Teams – Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning model to Japanese occupation material in Indonesia can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the percentage of students' classical completeness of 23% from 65% with an average class score of 73.52 in cycle I to 88% in cycle II with an average class score of 85.05. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Gemuh Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams – Achievement Divisions (STAD). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Satu siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap terdiri dari: perencanaan, peaksanaan. observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini yang menjadi subjek adalah kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Gemuh tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kualitatif. Penggumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data bersumber dari guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams – Achievement Divisions (STAD) pada materi pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
