At this time (2015–2019), nearly 60% of CDQ authors are women, and only 5% of authors are not affiliated with a university. Nearly a fourth of all lead authors reside outside of the United States. From 2015 to 2019, nearly 85% of all CDQ articles published were research articles, and qualitative studies increased significantly. Nearly all other methodological, participant, sample, and statistical characteristics were stable over time.
