My purpose here is to propose a shift in thinking from this traditional focus that dominates the \"art of nursing\" literature, to consider a new nursing aesthetic that focuses on human beings proper: <i>health as wellbecoming.</i> I present a framework based on everyday aesthetics, feminist aesthetics, and Deweyan perspectives, along with attention to the nursing disciplinary perspective of health and well-being.
