Abstract

A new species of the genus Ornithomya Latreille, 1802 (Diptera: Hippoboscidae), O. triselevae sp. n., is described from Iturup Island (the Kurile Islands, Russia). The new species differs from other Ornithomya species in the chaetotaxy of abdomen. An updated key to the Far Eastern species of Ornithomya is provided.
