Synthesis of the new polyazothiazole proceeds through the reaction of <em>bis</em>-(α-ketohydrazonoyl) dichlorides with 1,4-phenylene[<em>bis</em>(carbothioamide)] in a basic medium to afford novel polyazothiazole derivatives. Additionally, the self-polymerization reaction to synthesize polydiacetyltetrazine derivatives based on <em>bis</em>-(α-ketohydrazonoyl) dichlorides is described.
