Chitosan is a biopolymer obtained from chitin, one of the most abundant biopolymers in nature. Numerous applications of chitosan are well known in the biomedical, environmental, and industrial fields, and the potential applications are considerable. This work reports a new spectrophotometric method to determine chitosan concentration accurately.
