Clinostomiasis infects a person rarely when eating thermally untreated freshwater fish. A clinical description of a case of clinostomosis in a resident of the Tambov region of Russia is given. The first signs of the disease developed on the third day after eating river fish (perch). In the next two days, the symptoms intensified. After examination of the oropharynx, 5 individuals C. complanatum were removed followed by recovery.
