The patient was admitted to the Department of Dermatology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, Wenzhou, China, in July 2021, and underwent excision of the external nasal redundancy under general anesthesia. The postoperative wound was left open. The patient's wounds healed completely 2 months after surgery, and there was no recurrence at 6-month follow-up. The wounds recovered well, with only slight scarring.
