The patient underwent a definitive treatment by partial maxillectomy and reconstruction with buccal fat pad. A Rare Case Report of Extraosseous Ameloblastic Carcinoma and Review Article on Diagnosis and Treatment Dilemma
Peripheral ameloblastic carcinoma is an extremely rare odontogenic carcinoma. Its histopathological feature is identical to the intraosseous type. This case report details a case of peripheral ameloblastic carcinoma at the right posterior maxilla region in a 60-year-old Thai male.
