The secondary outcome was the Nottingham Health Profile score.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Treatment with stretching exercises and trigger point injection resulted in significant pain reduction compared to stretching exercises alone, and the reduction was persistent at the three-month follow-up (p<0.001). A between-group comparison showed no significant difference in the Nottingham Health Profile (p=0.522).
