Furthermore, we define a geometric constant (say <span>\\(\\alpha \\)</span>-index) associated with <span>\\({\\mathcal {X}}\\)</span> and study properties of the <span>\\(\\alpha \\)</span>-index. In particular, we obtain the exact value of the <span>\\(\\alpha \\)</span>-index for some polyhedral spaces and complex Hilbert space.
