Left ventricular remodeling (LVR) after myocardial infarction (STEMI) is associated with poor prognosis. <b>Methods:</b> This retrospective study included 293 STEMI patients. Echocardiography was performed before discharge and 3 months after MI. <b>Results:</b> Compared with the non-LVR group, TyG index value was found to be higher in the LVR group (p < 0.001). Biomarkers are physical, functional or biochemical indicators of physiological or disease processes. These key indicators can provide vital information in determining disease prognosis, in predicting of response to therapies, adverse events and drug interactions, and in establishing baseline risk.
