The Value of Forensic DNA Database

This paper explores the importance and impact of DNA databases in forensic investigations. These challenges include logistical, staffing, legal, security, growth, public interest, and international cooperation issues. By examining South Africa's successful NFDD implementation, the authors stress the need for thorough planning and implementing a comprehensive value chain.
