Random effects models were determined for effect sizes as standardized mean differences (SMD).SynthesisTwenty‐five studies were included in the review and 17 in the meta‐analysis. Most of the studies (58%) showed a low risk of bias. People with PD exhibit a shorter step when landing after crossing an obstacle (SMD = −0.50 [−0.69 to −0.31]).
