The proportion of high myopia is also high in the myopic population. High myopia is associated with multiple fundus changes, among which the neuropathic damage is usually ignored, and thus there has been limited clinical research on the pathogenesis, standard follow-up and effective treatment of optic neuropathy in high myopia.
