To examine HTE on BMI z-score from 2 to 24 months of age, we fit linear mixed effects models. <b><i>Results:</i></b> We analyzed 802 caregiver-child pairs, of which 52% of children were female, 58% of households reported annual family income of <$20,000, and 83% did not have a college degree. We observed evidence to suggest HTE by primary language (<i>p</i> = 0.047 for Spanish vs. English) and the combination of primary language and health literacy (<i>p</i> = 0.01).
