Procedure-related anxiety was assessed by a numerical rating scale (NRS, 0-10) and by recording of physiological parameters at three different points in time. A survey was conducted after the intervention. <i>Results:</i> This study showed that the patients listened to music overcame their procedure-related anxiety more quickly than the patients in the control group. The NRS at second timepoint was significantly reduced in intervention group compared to control group (p<0.01; r=0.2).
