In some cases, it may be due to falling or due to pathological reasons. The present survey provides information on external application of Ethno veterinary plant medicine for treating bone fractures of domestic animals by the natives of AP region in Nallamalas of Eastern Ghats of India. The therapeutical properties of 65 plant species belonging to 59 genera and 42 families are being used for treating bone fractures. Information on botanical name, vernacular name, family, plant parts used, mode of drug preparation, administration and mode of preparation of poultice are provided.
