Features of First-Order Phase Transitions in Nanosized Ferroelectrics
The critical size of a nucleus and the temperature of the first-order phase transition in nanosized ferroelectrics are estimated. The effect the strength of an external electric field has on the critical size of a nucleus, the temperature of the phase transition, and the width of a temperature hysteresis is established.
