This is the first report on patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>We conducted a retrospective observational study. A total of 65 CKD patients were enrolled. Serum and renal biopsy samples were collected. Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was examined by biochemical test. And α-klotho expressions were assessed by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry.
