The problem was developed within the context of Lord-Shulman theory. The methodology used here is normal mode analysis to solve the problem and get exact expressions for displacements, stresses, strain, conductive temperature, thermodynamic temperature, and change in volume fraction field. These quantities constructed in the physical domain are displayed graphically.
