The width of the acceptance limit of the numerical criterion for deciding on the proper quality of demulsifiers for various values of the specific risk of making a false negative decision was calculated. IR and Raman spectra of active substances (Laprols, Neonols, Amines) used for the production of commercial demulsifiers have been registered. Spectral zones and characteristic lines of absorption (IR spectra) and emission (Raman spectra) specific for Laprols, Neonols, Amines have been determined.
