Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that 25(OH)D (OR = 1.26, p = 0.001), age (OR = 0.93, P < 0.001) and BMI (OR = 1.04, p = 0.007) were independent predictors of NAFLD in patients with T2DM.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>This study revealed the correlation between serum 25(OH)D levels and NAFLD in patients with T2DM. Relationship between non-alcoholic fatty liver and progressive fibrosis and serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Objective: We aimed to analyze the relationship between non-alcoholic fatty liver and progressive fibrosis and serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D (25(OH)D) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
