中国广东的 Reevesia lofouensis（锦葵科）最近被当作 R. thyrsoidea 的异名。然而，R. lofouensis 与 R. thyrsoidea 的区别在于小枝和叶柄密被淡黄色星状绒毛，花序相对较大，花朵较多。因此，R. lofouensis 被恢复为一个单独的种。这里还提供了 R. lofouensis 的修订描述以及花的详细描述。
Resurrection and emended description of Reevesia lofouensis (Malvaceae)
Reevesia lofouensis (Malvaceae) from Guangdong, China, has been treated as a synonym of R. thyrsoidea recently.
