However, MPTCP can experience throughput degradation due to link congestion, which causes underutilizing of the network capacity. We proposed a new link congestion detection based on Software-Defined Networking (SDN) for MPTCP that detects and detours link congestion to achieve a stable MPTCP performance. Measurement results show that the proposed scheme enables efficient packet transmission by minimizing the effect of link congestion. 摘要
多路径 TCP(MPTCP)是领先的传输层协议之一,可通过多路径传输提高网络性能。然而,由于链路拥塞,MPTCP 的吞吐量可能会下降,从而导致网络容量利用不足。我们为 MPTCP 提出了一种基于软件定义网络(SDN)的新链路拥塞检测方法,它能检测并绕开链路拥塞,从而实现稳定的 MPTCP 性能。测量结果表明,所提出的方案能最大限度地降低链路拥塞的影响,从而实现高效的数据包传输。此外,建议方案与 SDN 监控相结合,可根据建议的链路拥塞检测实现动态流量控制。
