There is no instrument for evaluating adaptation to hysterectomy. This study aimed to design the Hysterectomy Adaptation Scale (HAS) and assess its psychometric properties.\n \n \n \n This methodological study was conducted from 2018 to 2020 in Mashhad, Iran. To develop the item pool, qualitative data from directed content analysis and data from the review of adaptation and coping instruments were used. The face, content, construct validity, internal consistency, and stability were used to evaluate the psychometric properties of HAS.\n \n \n \n The final version of the HAS consisted of 24 items with a reported content validity index of 0.9. Six factors were extracted from the principal component analysis, which explained 60.3 of the observed variance. Model fit indices in confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model was well fitted. The values of the alpha coefficient and intra-class coefficient were 0.86 and 0.95, respectively.\n \n \n \n The HAS is a valid and reliable scale for evaluating the adaptation level of hysterectomized Iranian women. HAS can distinguish between hysterectomized women who have adapted to hysterectomy and those who have not. 对子宫切除术并发症的适应是妇女和医疗服务提供者关心的话题之一。目前还没有评估子宫切除术适应性的工具。本研究旨在设计子宫切除术适应量表(HAS)并评估其心理测量学特性。 这项方法研究于 2018 年至 2020 年在伊朗马什哈德进行。在编制项目库时,使用了定向内容分析中的定性数据以及适应和应对工具综述中的数据。采用面效度、内容效度、建构效度、内部一致性和稳定性来评估 HAS 的心理测量学特性。 HAS 的最终版本由 24 个项目组成,内容效度指数为 0.9。主成分分析提取了 6 个因子,解释了 60.3 个观察到的方差。确认性因素分析中的模型拟合指数显示模型拟合良好。α系数和类内系数分别为 0.86 和 0.95。 HAS 是一个有效、可靠的量表,可用于评估子宫切除的伊朗妇女的适应水平。HAS 可以区分已适应子宫切除术和未适应子宫切除术的妇女。该量表可用于在研究和临床实践中评估子宫切除妇女的适应情况。
