Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was done to measure bone buildup between groups at the 1-year follow-up.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>No differences were observed in the different algometry measurements and the scores were assessed at 3, 6 and 12 months postoperatively. The objective of the study was to determine whether refilling the patellar bone defect after BPTB harvesting with autograft bone decreased kneeling pain to a greater degree when compared with a group in which bone defect is left unaddressed.

Methods: This is a randomised single-blinded controlled study. 期刊介绍: Few other areas of orthopedic surgery and traumatology have undergone such a dramatic evolution in the last 10 years as knee surgery, arthroscopy and sports traumatology. Articles on new diagnostic techniques such as MRI and ultrasound and high-quality articles about the biomechanics of joints, muscles and tendons are included. Although this is largely a clinical journal, it is also open to basic research with clinical relevance.
