This study, drawing on the resource-based view theory, investigates the relationship between AI applications and technology convergence, while analyzing the moderating role of digital orientation. We chose Chinese A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2015 to 2022 as our research sample to validate our hypotheses. Empirical results indicate that the application of AI has a positive impact on both novel and reinforced technology convergence. Furthermore, firms with a high level of digital orientation enhance the positive effects of AI applications on novel and reinforced technology convergence. 摘要

随着人工智能(AI)的迅速崛起,看似互不相关的技术领域变得紧密相连,为实现技术间的深度融合创造了有利条件。本研究借鉴资源观理论,研究人工智能应用与技术融合之间的关系,同时分析数字化导向的调节作用。我们选取了2015年至2022年的中国A股制造业上市公司作为研究样本,以验证我们的假设。实证结果表明,人工智能的应用对新技术融合和强化技术融合都有积极影响。此外,数字化导向程度高的企业能增强人工智能应用对新技术和强化技术融合的积极影响。研究结果为人工智能和技术融合领域做出了实证贡献,为企业如何利用人工智能推动技术融合提供了有价值的见解。
