An updated survey of attended home delivery and service problems with a focus on applications
The research field of Attended Home Delivery (AHD) and Attended Home Service (AHS) problems has experienced fast growing interest in the last two decades, with the rapid growth of online platforms and e-commerce transactions. The radical changes in consumer lifestyles and habits as well as the COVID-19 pandemic contingency have reinforced that interest, raising further challenges and opportunities that need to be addressed by innovative methodologies and policies. The Annals of Operations Research publishes peer-reviewed original articles dealing with key aspects of operations research, including theory, practice, and computation. The journal publishes full-length research articles, short notes, expositions and surveys, reports on computational studies, and case studies that present new and innovative practical applications.
