Spirituality also had a significant positive direct effect on family resilience. Additionally, self-efficacy had a significant positive indirect effect on family resilience through its effect on spirituality.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The findings underscore the impact of spirituality and self-efficacy on a family resilience.</p><p><strong>Implications for the profession: </strong>Nurses should prioritise self-care and personal reflection to enhance their spiritual well-being. This can help them better understand and empathise with their patients' spiritual needs, allowing for more effective and compassionate care.</p><p><strong>Impact: </strong>Upon the initial diagnosis of diabetes in a child, parents undergo a profound emotional and psychological upheaval.
