The country with the most publications and highest total citations was the People's Republic of China, but the United States held the highest average citation rate. Among the top ten productive institutions, the Ohio State University (Ohio State Univ) was the most prominent contributor to this field. The JOURNAL OF CLINICAL ENDOCRINOLOGY & METABOLISM (J Clin Endocrinol Metab) ranked first in terms of citation counts and average citations among the top ten productive journals. The Application of microRNAs in Papillary Thyroid Cancer: A Bibliometric and Visualized Analysis.
