We also discuss challenges and opportunities related to clinical trial design and patient safety/monitoring. Finally, we provide our perspective on future prospects in CAR T-cell therapy for malignant gliomas by discussing combinations and novel engineering strategies to overcome immuno-regulatory mechanisms.
