However, ethical issues arise when utilizing AI, necessitating a high level of ethical awareness before its application.</p><p><strong>Objectives: </strong>This study aimed to identify factors in artificial intelligence ethics awareness among nursing students.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>Participants were 140 nursing students attending universities in G City and J Province in South Korea. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire from 26 August to 6 September 2024. Factors in artificial intelligence ethics awareness were analyzed by multiple regression analysis.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Nursing students' artificial intelligence ethics awareness is significantly correlated with digital literacy (r = 0.30, <i>p</i> < 0.001) and moral sensitivity (r = 27, <i>p</i> < 0.001). The influencing factor in artificial intelligence ethics awareness among nursing students was moral sensitivity (β = 0.23, <i>p</i> = 0.042).
