We do this by introducing and analyzing the properties and interrelationships of three characteristic functions, <span>\\(\\tilde{\\eta }\\)</span>, <span>\\(\\eta _o\\)</span>, and <span>\\(\\eta _s\\)</span> related to the photon impact parameters.
