Successful clinical trials with radiopharmaceuticals such as high-specific-activity meta-iodobenzylguanidine and tyrosine kinase inhibitors such as cabozantinib and sunitinib have been recently published. This review will discuss the results of these studies and their impact on current clinical practices.
