There is a statistically significant correlation between compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue (<em>P</em> = .002, r = 0.220).</div></div><div><h3>Conclusions</h3><div>Among surgical nurses, the moderating variables that influenced levels of compassion satisfaction were gender, educational level, professional experience, and overall job satisfaction. Determination of Compassion Satisfaction and Compassion Fatigue Among Surgical Nurses
Purpose
