Esophageal perforation and epidural emphysema as complications of nasogastric tube placement.
We present a 72-year-old man with end-stage renal disease and Hashimoto encephalopathy in whom a diagnosis of epidural emphysema because of esophageal perforation by a nasogastric tube placement.
