Various microbiota profiles were identified, with the MIEG having higher levels of beneficial bacteria such as Bacteroides.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>Moderate-intensity exercise promotes a healthier gut microbiota compared to vigorous exercise in young female athletes.
