The impact of the adolescent father on the father‐mother‐infant relationship is explored. Excerpts from interviews conducted with three couples in a school‐based parenting program are presented. The adolescent fathers in these cases had a dramatic influence on the young mothers’ relationships with their families as well as their ability to develop a sense of self.
