Results of this review suggest that benefits may ensue if computer use is advocated. Functional limitations secondary to visual, hearing, and mobility changes; financial inadequacy; and cognitive limitation related to memory use are identified as barriers that may inhibit this population from learning how to use the computer. Methods and techniques dealing with these barriers are presented.
