本文分析了2010年至2018年9年间艾滋病毒感染者致残性的发展情况。目前实施的残疾评估标准于2010年出台，并受到法律监管。该文件利用捷克社会保障局的数据，分析了与捷克人口中其他疾病相比，因感染艾滋病毒而致残的发生率。作者通过一个案例来说明无效评价标准。在最后一部分中，建议更新目前的评估标准，也是因为设想在捷克共和国实施ICD-11。
