The purpose of this article is to report the 1-year follow-up of the periodontal and prosthetic rehabilitation of a patient who has presented with symptoms of peri-implantitis due to incorrectly planned implant supported fixed metal ceramic bridge which was later replaced with screw-retained hybrid prosthesis following the treatment of peri-implant defects. Treatment helped to maintain patient's self-confidence and comfort, as well as favorable masticatory function. 摘要

骨整合种植体周围边缘骨丢失的病因主要是基于生物力学和/或微生物因素。如果牙种植体周围的应力和应变在功能负荷条件下超过牙槽骨的生理耐受阈值,固定混合假体可能是比固定金属陶瓷修复更可靠的治疗选择。本文的目的是报道一例因种植体支撑固定金属陶瓷桥计划不正确而出现种植体周围炎症状的患者,在治疗种植体周围缺陷后,用螺钉保留混合假体代替。治疗有助于维持患者的自信和舒适,以及良好的咀嚼功能。螺钉保留复合假体是治疗上下颌骨差异的理想选择。
