Numerous methods have been used, involving sacral roots as peripheral nerve and pelvic organs. All of them are not valuable today. Sacral neuromodulation, tibial posterior and pudendal nerve stimulation have been successful for treatment of neurogenic detrusor overactivity in the short/middle term.
