Eighteen months after initial presentation supranuclear palsy developed.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>GSS is a neurodegenerative prion disease with diverse clinical presentations, and exhibits greater variability in disease phenotype compared to other inherited spongiform encephalopathies.
