Instead of a connection between the coronary vein and heart chamber, this appears to be a connection between the coronary artery and heart chamber, similar to the vessels described byWearn et al and noted by other angiographers.2 Parenthetically, the arterial-cameral connections first reported by Vieussens in 17063 and later described byWearn in 19334 are distinct from the vein-cameral connection first reported by Thebesius in 1708.5 In conclusion, the authors1 appear to demonstrate cardiac arteriocameral connections and not cardiac venocameral connections.
