Creació d'un motor de TAE especialitzat en farmàcia i medicina per a la combinació romanés-castellà

catalaAquest article descriu el proces de creacio d’un motor de traduccio automatica estadistica especialitzat en medicina per a la combinacio linguistica romanes–castella a partir de corpus lliures disponibles a internet. S’utilitza la plataforma MTradumatica, creada en el marc d'un projecte de recerca del grup Tradumatica per a fomentar l’us de la TA entre els traductors. L’article es pot interpretar com una mostra que aquest proposit s’ha assolit en el cas d’us que presentem, la qual cosa suggereix que el perfil dels traductors es valid per dur a terme processos de personalitzacio de TA. EnglishThis article describes the process of creation of a statistical machine translation engine specialised in medicine for the Romanian–Spanish language pair. The engine was based on free corpora available in internet. The article describes the use of the platform MTradumatica developed in the context of a research project by the Tradumatica research group, aimed at promoting the use of MT among translators. The article can be interpreted as the evidence that the aim of promoting MT among translators has been attained in this particular case, and it suggests that the profile of the translators is valid to carry out processes of customisation of MT engines.
