This research examined whether introduction section of the selected research articles follow the essential moves and steps according to CARS model by Swales (2004). In so doing, ten introduction sections in the research articles were selected in this research. The articles were purposively chosen in the amount of five research articles from each of the journals. 本研究旨在调查《Journal of语用学》和《Journal of English for Academic》两种不同期刊上发表的研究论文引言部分的作者使用的修辞结构。本研究根据Swales(2004)的CARS模型检验了所选研究文章的引言部分是否遵循了基本的动作和步骤。为此,本研究选择了研究文章中的十个引言部分。这些文章是有目的地从每个期刊中选择5篇研究文章。结果表明,两篇期刊的引言部分采用了Swales(2004)提出的CARS模型的大部分移动和步骤。
